help improving fiqure drawing??

professional all any other students that are good at figure, detail, propotion and anything that consist about figure drawing... can i have some basic tips on how to improve a newbie drawing? Pls help urgent!!i want to be good at figure regardless of college issues but myself b'cos i'm interested..

I think to get a good reponse here you have to be a lot more more specific with your questions. try here for some good anatomy references http://www.fineart.sk this should help you get started with proportions, if you want to start drawing figures from memory, you've got to start by doing lots of studies, from life preferably, so you can understand the basics of perception, and how the mind and eye can distort your ideas of what it is you are seeing. I would recommend getting comfortable with life drawing first, then moving on to using photo reference. keep in mind skill in figure drawing can take years to develop, so start with simple sketches, set small specific goals, achieve them, then keep moving and raising the bar for yourself. hope that helps. good luck
