I was wondering what construction methods people use to start drawing people. I havent found one that sits well so I bounce around using two different ones. Was just curious if any wanted to share what they use.

Thanks if ya share one :)

This is the version i usually use.. Just whipped this up real quick in sketchbook pro. basically the top and bottom lines are the start and end of the size of the head. the middle line is eyes, then base of nose, mouth.
There a few different methods in bridgemans as well, the way the bridgeman books explains them is kinda wierd and sometimes hard to follow.. deals with lines numbered 1 thru 4 I didnt make a drawing of that one cause i dont use. Kinda dont understand it i guess. Anyways this is the construction type i'm talking about :) ...

A day late but here is another one.. few seconds in skecthbook,
Basically just making a stickfigure then adding shapes over it to get a fleshed out basic human structure. I kinda fudged his mid section and made it to long, but you get the idea. all about simple shapes, ovals, cylinders, boxes then refining the shapes into heads, arms, chests ...
