Hello everyone...

I'm experimenting with Photoshop, trying to get some 'traditional' feel. I'm inexperienced with custom brushes and digital painting in general, so any help from the painting aces would be appreciated.

Any critiques or paintovers are welcome!

my thoughts

add more detail. looks like your using brushes but not a wide variety

remeber use your LAYERS as brushes also there is no rule that say you can't paint multiple layers

expiriment with blending modes, I realize your going for a traditional feel, however you may find blending modes to be of great use

apply more color, your color pallet on this painting seems very limited,(if your not a color master-which I am not-) try using a real picture( that has the same mood and feel you are going for) and just pick colors from there. I find this technique gives me more freedom in my painting

alot of this you probably already know or didn't I hope it helps.

---off hand comment---> the angle of the camera to the building leaves me wanting to see a ground plane, but thats just me
