How To Do Graffiti Art?

I was confronted the other day when I was in the city by a group of skateboarders, who spotted me sketching nearby, they asked me if I wud respray some of their skateboard decks.
They asked me to put some of my designs onto their decks, AND they wanted some graffiti art, problem is I can't do Graffiti art at all...
so little help please? just some tips to start me off?

You should check out some of el coro's art under the featured art section, he has some of the best graffiti art.
I hope this helps you just a bit, I also think taht he has a good link on how to do graffiti

el coro has mentioned a site called 12oz Prophet (http://www.12ozprophet.com/) in a few threads, you can search their forum for info. I've checked them out before and remember seeing posts asking about doing graf lettering.

Graffiti is a self taught thing. You have to create your own style. I have been doin it for 20+ years now.

Hey check this site out, it will get you going for sure!!! Street art has always fascinated me, and is so much fun to do... Stickers, stincels, fun!!!
