We have a single player mod for Half-Life 2 called Subvertus in development, yet we are without concept artists. Both of ours wandered off without a word, and we could really use some artistic talent to help us visualize NPCs, enemies, and the levels for the game. You don't have to have loads of experience for these positions - what we look for above all else is commitment. The mod has had too many people come and go just as quickly, and it has suffered because of it.

As for the mod itself, it does take place in the Half-Life universe, but away from Gordon Freeman, focusing on a new group of characters and they fight to survive the Combine onslaught and the climate changes brought on by their weather machine.

Thanks guys! We really appreciate any help you can offer!

@Gilles: Yes, that's perfectly fine. This is a non-profit mod, we're not doing the whole NDA, anything-you-make-is-our-property B.S. that a lot of other projects do. Though there are two things regarding any artwork you do for us that we would like:

1) If you use it in your portfolio, please try to indicate that you made it for the mod. It helps with exposure ;).
2) Don't post any of the artwork in your portfolio unless it's either been publicly shown in a media release, or the mod itself has been released. There are things we'd like to keep secret while in development.

But other than that, any work you do, even though it's intended for the mod, is still your own. If you do decide to leave the mod, any work you made for it though we get to hang on to and use for development (it's still yours though).

Hopefully the above made sense. If you could make a post in our forums so that other members of the team can see your work, that would be great.

@cobomaster - Keep checking your forum post for feedback from the other team members.

Thanks again guys!
