This is a page from Man To Leaves, a graphic novel we finished up late last year. Its part of three books we just call the Leaves Cycle. We are into 25 pages or so of the Second one, Seven Leaves.

amazing looking. I find it simple, but with a hard edge. I get the feeling that your using photos to get the faces. Is that so?

Wow. breathtaking work, I absolutely love the style.
I hope i'm allowed to ask this, but what tools/processes do you use? Or are you one of those keep-the-rabbit-in-the-hat kind of artists who never gives away their secrets?
I'm gonna stick it out, it looks like photo manips, or airbrushed -eek- stock photos. It's pretty corny to see the same face simply mirrored and doodled over on the same page, not to mention the quote from a recent blockbuster movie (well, if you actually got it from Plato, then all the power to you, but you, misspelled, the qu,ote, added, a hyphen, when there wasn't one, gra,mmar...) -please note that i have yet to wander around your site, the layout confounds me a bit, can't seem to find a designated gallery, unless you count a shopping cart as a gallery. I'll have to see the other work that's there, before i can have a leg to stand on with my crits.
bleh, go ahead and flame but understand i'm not the kinda person to sugar-coat suppositories. A crit is a crit, and an opinion is an opinion. It's not a personal attack, it's not a defamation attempt, it's not a bomb threat.
***p.s.***
i spy with my untrained eye awesome work, i'd believe it if you told me those drawings are pure handiwork and no photo base stuff. Sorry if my "opinion" sounded a bit blunt, i just... i just thought i'd like to share with everyone. Look what i can do!!!
