fun concepts, very cartoony. To round this out I suggest that you do a character lineup - and try to create lots of different characters in terms of height, proportions etc. This would really stretch your creative muscles.
My sketchbook is here (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71080&page=3)

Cool stuff! Watch where the last character's feet are touching the ground. usually the one facing towards the viewer is the lower placed foot.
If your interested in animation and character creation, 3d turn arounds of 2d characters are always fun.

I'm trying to get it a bit more animated like you said in a 3D perspective. All the above are without reference. I have some that i have done in a cartoon manner and have RL references to help with perportions and stances. I liked also what the person said earlier and may take my current stuff a bit further and place them in various stances with all same scale showing them from various angles. I also did a bit of fine tuneing of a few of the char's so that they are more defined and have more of a personallity. Once I post it you will get a basic idea of what i'm trying. The input you guys are giving me is awesome.. Many thanks ;) you guys rock.

very nice line work on the first two pictures, the second one realy stands out to me as the best. The hands and feet look a bit off on all of them (those that have some at least lol) so you might want to practice some standard catoon hand poses, so you have them down for quick sketches.

I know this isnt' really a line up yet but you can see a bit of a more refined image. The colors may change as well as clothing, but this is a toon i'm refineing more or less for a new line up. I'll try to get a more professional line up as soon as I can on this toon and a few others.

Thank you, HunterKiller, Softocean, ChaoticKnight and MadMike for the posts.
Here are a few newer ones that I tossed together to grab a bit more detail then the previous ones. Please let me know where my strengths and weaknesses are. All help is welcome. Just got a new program and still learning so sorry if the image sizes are a bit off.

I like the style a lot, you should really look into picking up photoshop and a wacom tablet, I'm sure you could work your art into it very easily.

Here's another penciled version of the girl that i'm working on. I haven't had time to mess with the wacom tablet and photoshop yet. But I will soon.
I'm still haveing issues resizing the image with the new software so the images are WAY too big and i'm working on fixing that sorry.

I think that I finally fixed a few kinks in my set up. I'll use the wacom on the next set but felt as though I owed you all a sample of what kind of stuff i'm actually able to do with ease. I also think I fixed the image size issue.. Sorry about prior posts.

Someone in the past had told me to work more on the hands and such to keep things in perportion. I've been working on this greatly and you can see the progress or lack there of. The girl that's in most of them is a chartoon type of char that i've been developing. For now I just call her "Red".
Should I do something like try to make the poses a bit more complex to really bring the action in on the images or what do you think i can do to better the drawings to make them really jump out at ya and capture the viewers interest.

I've done most my work my whole life with the traditional style of media and wanting to dabble more into the digital world.. other then PS and Coral.. what is a good freeware type of speed paint tool. Any ideas? Please.. I'm wanting to digitize my material. Yes I have a wacom tablet but it's a cheep one and steadily practicing with it.
