I know a lot of people say this but there are tons of really talented people here in these forums and I hope that some day I can be as good as a lot of people on these forums. So, I thought I'd start by posting here and getting some feedback. Here's some drawings I've done in my off time at work.

neat stuff.
I would watch out for the base of you characters, on some of the human type ones, their feet look either way too big or not positioned right.
Good idea to start with silloetts ( i can not spell that word to save my life )
it looks good, keep up the good work.

Slainte!

Wow! Really nice looking concept art! I like the subtle use of shading in your work. I hope to see you post more!

Flipnastywebby: Thanks! :teeth: yeah I do have some issues with placing the feet right when I start drawing them, I'll have to pay closer attention to that in my next drawings.

Till then, Here some more character sketches I've done in my off time and a weird cicada guy...

VanDog: Thanks! You do some great work yourself.
darkchild: Thanks! :bashful:
silvestri99: Thanks, I might finish out some of those thumbnails soon.

A couple of years ago I did some art for a table top rpg book called 7/13 The Cycle of Existance. This is a drawing of one of gods, a godess of light, probably one of the only drawings I still like that I did for that book.

Inkjexion: Thanks! Sorry about my name, I know it sounds kinda male but I'm actually female. :bashful:

Here's kind of an odd sketch done while in boredom.... I might color her later or maybe not, I get mixed opinions on this one.

I really don't know how to respond to your first post haha. You really have astounding talent and I'm sure with a little more work you'd probably be one of the top artists here. I love your characters and creatures but definitely want to see what you do with enviro's. From a humble artist to another - you got mad talent. hope to see ya round and welcome. lats

Thanks everyone! :teeth:

ped454: Thankyou :D Hopefully there will be more environments on here pretty soon. I don't get to draw them very much, and every one of them I've started I didn't like...So, tomorrow I think I'm going to sketch out some environment thumbs and post them to get in the groove of doing those.

Here's something I'm going to start coloring pretty soon

Teeth
October 4th, 2007, 02:41 AM
RandAlThor: Thanks!

Still trying to get use to drawing backgrounds....so, maybe the black and white version was better?

Some environment ideas...

These are really interesting to look at, particularly the black and white studies. The creature from October 2 is just awesome.

One thing I notice throughout the human characters, is that you don't seem to be connecting the head well enough to the neck in some views. Other than that, these are great.

Teeth
October 9th, 2007, 11:08 AM
ceberae: Thanks, yeah sometimes I have some trouble trying to figure out how the head is going to look in a certain position. I need to remind myself to look at reference on this stuff.:bashful:

Here's something I worked on yesterday. I'm not quite happy with it yet....

Teeth
