This painitng was originally a project for a technical illustration class where we were assigned a cut-away or phantom airbrush painting of something mechanical. By this time in the year I was pretty sick of drawing or painting anything that had any functional purpose. Needless to say I almost failed this class when everyone else handed in these elaborate ferrari engine cut-away paintings. But luckily my prof had a good sense of humor, and was a big mila fan.
I passed the course.
Mind you, now, I work a photocopier for a living, and eat Kraft DInner for breakfast lunch and dinner. Let this be a lesson to all you aspiring students.
