Hi I havn't posted an image on this site yet so I just wanted to make sure I knew how to do it before I started filling up threads with red x's. How exactly do you do it?
I know its like [img]/ such and such...
Do you just copy and paste the address where the image is hosted? Let me know guys!
thanks

all you do is put the image up on your host... *make sure your host allows outside linking*... then when you post a reply or start a thread... you just hit the little button that says. *IMG* a window will pop up for the URL address and you just cut paste like you said, hit okay.. and hit submit reply..
good luck..
peace.

Hmm, I can't get it to work.
Supposedly my host allows outside linking, but all that is coming up the the link to back to the site, not the actual picture.
I've only previewed my post but I'm assuming what comes up in the preview is what will come up in the submitted post.
any other clues?
In fact I think I'll try it here for you to see...

yeah, that's odd... but if you go to that jpg page and right click on the image and go to properties you'll see the actual address to your picture... just highlight and copy that and use that as the URL for your image... its should work.
this is the URL:
http://www.strike9.com/file.aspx?path=%2fsam_octigan%2ffullsize%2fdsg_178 .jpg
lets see if the image shows up now

well that's odd... it still shows a link, but atleast now it just links to the actual picture and not a webpage.
