Having seen your work in the WIP forum, I had to check out your SB :P

I like what I see! :) Your crosshatching is cool, and your finished pieces - wow :x You could maybe do with some more flowy lines, more movement, but your sketches are really nice "as is".

Keep crankin' out the sweet drawz! 8)

Here is some new stuff that I have been sketching out this semester. This first painting here was me experimenting with old worn out sayings. Its Recipe for Heart Ache. The others have other stories.

All of this is out of my sketchbook, except for the two paintings and the one robot drawing, I did those with prismacolors for fun on some bristol board. I have just gotten into making robots recently and I really enjoy it. Hope everyone likes the stuff.

See you all in Seattle!!

Cool stuff man, drawings look freaking great. It's good to know that at least a few people in Colorado know what CA.org is. I was up in CSU, and out of the entire art department there were 3.

The Two Paintings are little pieces I make on my sketchbook covers, I hate having those lame labels that the sketchbook companies put on them, so I make my own.

This first page is composed of a few sketches from the local zoo. Cats and reptiles, my favorites.
The page after contains a couple more animals from the zoo, however the bear was drawn from a photo.

I have been posting a lot of creatures so I thought I would post a couple paintings. The sketches are of some reptiles I have been working on, I was using iguanas and bearded dragons as reference, since I have both here at home! lol. I also put in a Life Drawing from a couple years ago, An Illustration about inherited obesity, and an unfinished piece about Technology.

Very nice :) Thanks for sharing. Perhaps make the pics a bit smaller so that they are easier to view?

Thank you both very much. Always appreciate compliments.

I will start making the images smaller, that is a good tip.

Joeyb: I draw with either bic pens or, in the case of the blue, light colored prismacolor markers. I like to use Cloud Blue, French Grey 20%, or Eggshell.

Just started this today, about an hour so far, plan on taking it to a finished painting.

I was thinking of Mandrill's, those gnarly primates, when coloring him.
