Wet Paper

This one started out as sketch practice, but slowly developed into a more finished painting. The final look should resemble something more comic-like than realistic. The idea behind was to have a girl almost coming to life on a wet poster. It is not entirely obvious, but if you look closer the waterdrops, although running down a flat surface, they seem follow the girl's curvaceous body. I'm still fighting against anatomy (and probably will forever), but it is always a lot of fun to do these kind of paintings.

Her right arm is a little thick, torso's a little long for head, neck seems aligned too far to her left, and it seems like she's taken from a photo.

I like the wet paper effects, though.

Continue the detail have for her body to her head, mainly her hair. Looking good though, looking real good.

hey nice looking women but some proportions are off, thouse hands well fists mainly are too huge, should be in lenght same as from bottom of chin to the top of forhead (hope you don't mind some crits), i'v seen your work on cgtalk and you have some grate skills especialy nice enviroments

I think you ought to add water droplets running down her face, too - as it is, it sort of stands out as seemingly, uh, 3D, if you get me. But maybe that's the idea? Interesting project for sure!

what if you add a cast shadow on the "poster" - that might help convey your idea.
