no im j/k...glad to see you! well i try to like all my artwork equally so the other peices dont get there feelings hurt, but post #3 the first peice is my fav. in the thread so far...but it is a tye between that one and one that i havent posted yet...which is the WIP in post # 13 which i have now finished more and will post this weekend hopefully :teeth:

I am a fan of your work and your work habits!
I really like the last few posts, the atmostphere is working nicely.
That was one thing I noticed in the past, that the environments had
an overall saturation that made it difficult to tell what was foreground
and what was background. The new ones work!

I think you have some nice ideas, your knowledge on anatomy could use a bit of work, but not bad really. Over all I believe you need to refine on what you already have, try to tighten up some of your line work and refine your character, work with what you got and improve on the idea.

Hey H, Some nice pieces in here esp the thumbs, keep doing them, they will lead you in directions you never thought off. As for the 3d stuff... cool. Theres def improvements there. The coloured stuff, needs a little attention to edges, i've got the same problem with trying to use soft edges and leave it to the viewers imagination to fill in the little details, but sometimes you just need to spell it out to them with some hard edges and some tight details. The designs are good and its nice to see you exploring different shapes. My advice at the mo would be to try and do some real life studies... people, animals, enviros etc and go for the big impression first. then tighten a few areas up and even try the sharpen filter a little. Keep up the effort dude ;-)

My fav's of your's are the painted dear and skeleton in the cave... You have a sort of water color effect happing, which I love.

I only know how to achieve a similar effect by layering color in Photoshop on multiply layers.

took the two sketches i liked and played with them some more...i like the bended over one, i feel the characters personality shines through alot and the pose is very dynamic, so i think ill go with that one... :)

This snail is a prehistoric specimen that was trapped in the ice caps long before the 18th century. The pollution of the 21st century and the melting of the ice caps released them into the water system and it wasnt long before there hallucinogentic propertys were discovered and they there placed on the black market as the latest addictional high. At first the high was a spiritual experience and an addiction as with any other drug until it mutated in the early 30th century and started killing its users within a matter of days. Its all the rave with the younger generations and the leading cause of death in the world...
