Hello all,
At 35, I'm an age old, recluse artist who only recently discovered what a drawing tablet can do my my art. I've been drawing and creating since I was about 10 and have always found a natural passion for it.
I just bought my first tablet (9X12 Intuos) along with Painter X and looking to pursue my destined career in Illustration and/or Animation. I am currently scanning old ideas on my workplace's scanner (only 600dpi max) and cleaning a few up to share with y'all. I hope to develop a great deal more in the coming months... Enjoy!

This is the next phase of Peace Cove Witch, which...has become a meticulous WIP now with the addition of Painter X and a new Intuos3...hard to resist getting into the extreme detail, peeling skin, chapped lips etc, can't wait to do the eyes and flesh tones. More to come...

Keep the scanner hot and scrub that wacom !
I see you have nice line control, but I like it even better when you let lines flow like on this (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=188252&d=1187545926) piece. Now that you have Painter and a tablet do jump in and experiment like crazy, and slap on plenty of color and texture too.
Looking forward to your next update, and thx for your thoughts.

Nice work, man. Nice finish. Nothing major to crit -- minor anatomy and proportion issues. It'll all come with practice and study. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with the digital stuff. And like Addiso said, don't be afraid to get loose. Keep it up!

Hi Trog,
I hear you, lately, mula, has been a bit of a stumbler for my studies as well. I wish I had started any formal art training when I was a teen. But, anyway, it's now about how much you put into it. Keep at it and you can't help but progress to your delight. Hard work always pays off.
You hav/had some interesting ideas among your sketches. Really want to see what new concepts you have at present. Fill this puppy up. :)
