Hello once again,
I'm having a problem here: I have Painter X, and I recently created an illo in Painter, passed over to Photoshop and then back to Painter in order to create certain effects and stuff I wanted to do. In the Photoshop stage, I added a layer to work with, saved it, and then when I opened it up in Painter, I tried to proceed to do a canvas resize (like 500 pixels downwards). Something funny happened: it seems that only the BACKGROUND (first) layer resized, but the second layer would work like if no canvas resizing had been done at all. So when I tried painting over the new canvas on the second layer, it just wouldn't work! The brush stroke would work only until it got to the borders of the "old" image before the canvas resizing. The only layer that would allow painting on is the bottom background layer. Is this kind of layer behavior normal in Painter?
thanks in advance,
