Hello all, and good day. I am currently in charge of finding cover art for our latest issue of Campaign Builder's Guide (http://thecbg.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?27981), a digital publication about the craft of world-building and filled with general fantasy goodness. I'm looking for an artist who can provide a cover for the magazine, and so I came here.

The artist will retain all rights to his work, as we only need it for the cover. I'm looking for an 8-1/2" by 11" full-color piece with a fantasy bent. Also, the artist will be credited at the top of the ToC on the second page, and has an opportunity to be seen by the fantasy/RPG/gaming world and get his or her work out there. Currently, releases of our zine are announced on enWorld.org, WotC community message boards, roleplayingtips.com, therpgsite.com, and rpg.net whenever a new edition is out, so there is a lot of potential publicity for an artist.

If anyone is interested, please post here, and feel free to request more details.

Thank you for your time.

Justin.

Thank you those who replied. For the next issue, to be released in late September (presumably), we will be using Justin Oaksford. Badaboom, you have some great art on your portfolio, and if you're still interested when we begin looking for the next issue, I would love to get in contact with you. Also, if you are interested in my next paragraph, please say so and I will get in contact with you shortly.

I would like to take this time to say that the Campaign Builders' Guide is always looking for great color or black-and-white art for inner pages, such as monsters, villains, heroes, landscapes, etc. If anyone here is interested in ever contributing in such a fashion, please leave a contact here and I will get back to you ASAP.

Thanks,
Ishmayl

Thanks to everyone who has recently contacted me about doing future art for the Guide. We are always looking for good artists for both exterior and interior work for the Guide. I will be keeping your information handy and will get in contact with you once we're ready to start searching for art for the next issue, which we will begin working on around 9/16/07.

Cheers!

I would be interseted in a piece or two. I can do full rendering in a traditional style and my black and white stuff is generally strong too.

Thank you for all the responses both here in the thread, as well as emails and PMs. We're about to release the current issue, and I would like to thank Justin Oaksford and Adam Schmidt for their amazing art they've contributed. Also, I would like to open up this thread for our next issue, which will be released around the end of October. Next issue's theme is "Seafaring Adventures," and we would like the art to match the theme, so anyone interested in working in the upcoming issue, - both for cover art, as well as interior art - please post here or PM me and I will get back to you ASAP.
Cheers!

The September issue has been released, and you can find it on the Campaign Builders' Website (http://www.thecbg.org). Thanks to Adam Schmidt and Justin Oaksford for their great art, and we look forward to continuing working with the fine artists here. I have already been in contact with a few people who have PMed me, and some of you guys who posted here last month, if you're still interested, I would like to contact you as well. Just let me know if you would like to work with us, and we'll find some way to make it happen!
