Just wanted to have some fun with some DC characters. So yeah, here are some quick portraits.
You should be able to guess pretty well which three I chose. Someone asked me to draw some familiar characters (to see what they would look like in my style), and I supose this should count, although they're hardly recognizable.
(PS- i now realize spiderman is marvel. lets all just ignore that for now though)

Now these are cool. I like the Batman mask design the most, Spiderman is just plain creepy. I couldn't really tell what the last one was, until a friend pointed out it was probably superman.
I get the feeling that Batman would be a Rogue gentleman for some reason.

Now that is a tight F*ING Concept!
I love what you did with Batman. The whole ballroom maqurade motif works so well.
BRILLANT!

Wow! What excellent ideas, and gorgeous shading, too! I especially love the Superman idea.
The only crits I have are that Spiderman's head seems too large for his hood, and that (costume nerd) Batman's loose high collar and lace cravat seem more 1780s than 1850s.
I've seen your work before and really love it.

TIGHT! Man, you should do a whole series of these. This is one of the freshes takes on classic characters that I have seen in a while. Keep it up man!

Were you inspired by "1602?" It's a Marvel Comics book about some of their heros ancestors in the 1600's, this looks like sort of a DC universe equivalent. I haven't read the book yet, but I have seen some of the artwork. Yours is better :D This is phenomenal.

Haha, cool. I like the designs you added onto Batman's mask. It adds a debonair and almost arrogant look to his face.
