-If you have created any game or card art please reference that too.

Project 1: "Pirate"
The art should portray piracy in a fun, cartoonish manner. Each individual art piece will represent an item associated with pirates. These should be iconic and instantly recognizable, capturing the romance of the high seas while maintaining a lighthearted tone intended for everyone age 6 and up. There should be no direct indications of violence. The art pieces should carefully avoid any imagery that would scare a small child or cause concern for parents of small children. At the same time, the art should be sophisticated enough that an adult could find some humor or other appeal in it.
14 pieces for a card game, final art size 2.5"x3.5", delivered as 300 dpi layered photoshop files.
Project 2: "Skate"
The art should have a skater-punk feel. It should reflect amateur art of the streets, with the "do it yourself" skater mentality at the forefront. The game will be marketed toward 7-year olds and up. While the art should portray the edginess of skate punk culture, it should not be scary or unduly explicit. Overt depictions of death, violence, or sex are inappropriate. Strong primary and secondary colors are called for, though they should appear slightly muted and grainy. Think of spray-painted colors. The art should reflect a style of skateboarding art similar to graffiti, spray-stencil, or even tattoo art. However violent, morbid, or sexual images are to be avoided.
