Hey metalwinds.
Firstly, about the pirate it seems that his pose is a bit wrong, and his body is kinda in a wrong pose, and overall the body is a bit small.
about the zombie, his left hand is longer than the other one.

Nice job though, i like the face expressions. :)

I agree with haiku the pirate does seem a bit off also compared to the zombies your pirate is really weak , the penciling and stuff on the zombies it looks like u really took your time and it shows, where as the pirate looks rushed. Zombies look good and i think it sorta adds to it that one arm is longer then the other you might get away with it because his shoulders are so slooped.

thanks for the comments guys. i used too many underlying lines on the pirate, which is why it doesnt look as good as the zombie.. . .too much of it is mush because darker lines dont show through. putting down the initial lines precisely is something that i need to work on.

great start w/ the underwater creature, i really like the head. However, my only crit is that it doesn't appear to be really adapted to the water, know what i mean. It seems like a humanoid creature, but not really fit to swim the mean seas. Once again great rendering so far, would like to see a finished version.

I'm really digging the underwater creature as well, and I also agree with AttackCat... maybe make him a merman, or attach a tail to make swimming easier for him... hell, maybe even webbed feet.

But this is just a sketch afterall... and its looks freakin' amazing!

thanks guys. normally i think about adaptations and stuff like that, but for this drawing.. .i dunno. thanks for pointing that out though, it didnt even occur to me. .. i think i got lost in making the human form correct and forgot about making him able to swim. thanks for the feedback.
