Thats a solid ship and background but the figure looks really rushed in comparison. The legs look not right.

stunning atmosphere, you have a very traditional feel to your art while tackeling a non traditional medium.

this concept is fantasy about AZTEC empire (ancient Mexico).
of course, this concept is my subjective expression~:)
I am charmed by AZTEC history.
the ship is AZTEC canoe, and red-boy is pirate...ummm
landscape of 'Tenochtitln'(ancient Mexico City)..

Aztec Mythology is awesome, and it could even work for Jules Vernes's universe to an extent.
Neat.
Do you happen to know this old, old cartoon on the subject? I only know the French name "Les mysterieuses cites d'or" that translates into "the mysterious cities of gold" and I know that the japanese name was "Taiyô no ko Esteban", or Esteban, son of the Sun. It was based on Maya/Inca/Aztec/Olmec civilization and technology (mostly Olmecs).
Here are some screengrabs (the site's in French)

Wow. Both your design and style here are very unique. Your style, how you make everything look lumonous and perfectly integrated with it's environment, is amazing. Also, your brush work is pretty damn sharp. What kind of brushes do you use?
Awe inspiring work. It's always a treat to see new stuff.
