Looking to work with a writer on a project called "One Nation"(working title). Think Watchmen and Kingdom Come meet the Matrix. A team of superheroes (of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds) attempt to make the world a better place but their good intentions don't prepare them for the growing corruption in the world around them.
Their presence and growing influence causes certain governments (in conjunction with our own) to plot the teams destruction. Our heroes change tactics to face an America whose leadership has become destructive and despotic.
Currently, the entire story has been outlined and scripting has begun on issues 1-3. The problem: neither of us are writers. We're Illustrators by profession so we need a writer to take all the thoughts and ideas and make them a cohesive script. We're thinking a 12 issue maxi-series format, told in either three four-issue-arcs or two 6-issue-arcs, with cliffhanger style endings. Standard 22page issues with the last being a double sized issue (44-48 pages).
We're offering $10.00 per page ($220.00 per issue as well as 10% of the backend profits) to be paid upon completion of each issue. We also would like to see writing samples of your work (published or copy-written materials preferred).
