Those of you who have been seeing my topics on here the past few weeks know my predicament. So I decided to take your advice and make a sketchbook here. Please dont criticize my first posts too harshly, I know they are bad. That's the point, to show you where I am at now so that you can see my progress once I start doing life drawing regularly and relearning the basics. These are the works that I've felt were some of the best in the last 2 years or so, they were done from reference pictures. My more original ones didnt look good!

Looks like you have a nice attention to detail, as in the spiderman pic, but I get the impression you're drawing directly from photos and other drawings. Try doing some freestyle stuff, just do some ppl from your imagination as a quick practice to see what you can do without copying something directly. But as everyone here will tell you, the best way to learn to draw from imagination is with drawing from life and learning about how to draw the human body through anatomy books. But however you choose to progress, just keep drawing. And put some more stuff up so we can see what else you can do ;D

Don't be afraid to post bad stuff! Like you said, it's all about learning, and you can't make diamonds without going through a lot of coal. You're just starting out, but you've clearly put in effort. It's good that you're trying dynamic poses in your life drawings; continue on that path, but make sure you pay close attention to proportion, balance, volume, etc. It takes a lot of practice to get that stuff down, but it's worth it!
