nice work! i've seen your Anubis few years back in Taiwan exhibition!
hope you can post some pictures by attaching images to the thread here once the magazine is on the rack and you get their nod to post pictures!
took 9 months because you're working on other project, namely your chess pieces!! (yes i can read mandarin :P)
hope you dont mind me offering some simple translation of the character's name. 誅王= king of annihilation
and its his original character that he did out of his free time, and will be feature in a Japaneses based hobby magazine (Dengeki Hobby) in this month's Taiwan mandarin issue (another mandarin issue publish for Hong Kong), i'll be getting a copy soon myself!

The name of 誅王 has two means .One as you translate king of annihilation.
The other mean in chinese it sounds like pig king.The birthpet 2007.
So there will be more 11 birthpets that I still working on .

nope, malaysian here, girlfriend is taiwanese.
thanks for the additional info on the character! 誅(annihilation) and 豬(pig) pronounce the same in mandarin! (which explain why the face of the character resemblance the animal...) this is the year of the pig! next year will be the rat.... so we'll be expecting a new sculpt in less than 9 months's time? maybe even shorter, 4 months? before the next chinese new year? i'm sure the magazine will have a lot of close ups, please post them later!
ohh and also please share the chess pieces when they are completed (or WIP), they're looking great!:D

Yes I still thinking about the new sculpt that rat .It`s name will be 肅王.

I made those joints by myself. But them still have some problems.
