Hey everybody. Just wanted to introduce myself. Been watching the great talent around here. Amazing stuff. Me, Just trying to get myself to that next level.

cool, some pretty neat stuff. i think the first and last are my fav. the one before the last one is cool too. the last environment is nice, and very clean. gives me this old western settlement feel.

I like the marker work alot, do you set up ypur enviroments freehand or with rulers?

Depends on the enviro. If I can get away with it Ill ditch the ruler and try to be a bit quicker about it.

Im glad people seem to like the marker work. Heres a better shot of one from the sample sheet and another thats one of my personal favorites.

Great stuff, I'm particularly fond of that sea monster lookin' thing. Quick question on that marker rendering you enlarged: Did you do the sketch in marker first, then ink your lines afterwards? Because it looks like the marker goes quite a bit outside the line work. If so, is that the typical method for using Pantone markers or just your own stlye? I've never used markers before so I'm just curious as to what's the most effective method.

Nice work - do you have a detail of the map? I like your linework, but I think that your color work has a good deal more depth...

great pics here, esp. the dino-carrier thing. I really like the detail and the inking, definitley post more.

PencilPunx: Yeah just like just straight edges if I can get away with just sketching in marker to pick up some time I will.

well - it looks great... kinda reminds me of the maps I saw in the LOTR books I had once upon a life...
