Nice sketch. I'd really like to see this colored.

Man...So many people are into this desert thing. I thought I was the only one. There are a couple of other guys on the boards doing concepts for desert scenarios. Maybe a collaboration is in order.

for some reasons, I like the criss-crossing lines you put on this creature. Suggesting volume muscles and some obscure cartilagous (sp?) formations. Maybe the bridle should be a bit longer ?

Chromo48 : About the desert thing, I really love it. The Sahara is a huge part of my fondest memories..

Well it is a poor quality pic. loses some details. I did lay in alot of anatomy to build up the form and to solidify the design.

Nice job, excellent form. The wide feet are to keep it from sinking into the sand?

Theo- heh, funny you mention a tauntaun. You should really see my earlier iterations of this creature. They were uh.... more tauntaun than tauntaun..... hahaha.

rimwalker- you are correct. Think of snowshoe type webbed feet for easier movement through the soft sand.

Anyways.... now its time for me to finally get to an illustration for this project. Have a few solid designs that i can finally have some fun and make a couple compositions. Plus.... i finally got my comp back up to 100%, its been giving me trouble these past couple weeks. And i have this new 19'' samsung plasma screen to work on :D. So i'll post my progress to get some feedback from you guys.
