I'm getting Adobe CS3 Design Premium for school this fall. I have some questions that I need to clear up...

1. Can CS3 Design Premium work for Windows Vista? (I have Vista Premiere Edition for my laptop that I will be taking off to school)

2. If I have CS3 Design Premium, can it work for BOTH Windows AND Macs? Or do I need to purchase a CS3 Premium for Windows AND an addtional version for Mac? (I will most likely get a mac laptop/desktop within the next year or so, so I'd like to have it available on both windows and macs)

3. Adobe specifies that I need some sort of Intel Processor, with the current laptop I have now, it has an AMD Turion 64 Processor. Does this make CS3 uncompatable with my current laptop?

1. Yes, it works on Vista.

2. Yes, you'll need both the Mac and the Vista version if you want to run it on both systems. Kinda annoying really...

I have no idea about 3...

As for number 3, your current laptop should be capable of running CS3 Production Premium. According to http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/production/systemreqs/ it states:

"Intel® Pentium® 4 (1.4GHz processor for DV; 3.4GHz processor for HDV), Intel Centrino®, Intel Xeon® (dual 2.8GHz processors for HD), or Intel Core™ Duo (or compatible) processor; SSE2-enabled processor required for AMD systems"

And according to http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_1260_13851%5E12658,00.html
it states that AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile Technology, 3D and Multimedia Instructions

3DNow! ™ Professional technology, SSE2, SSE3

So therefore, it should work.

Hopefully this was helpful. Good luck with your purchases!
