Okay ya'll. Brace yourself for some much needed improvement in my anatomy sketches. Please CC and give any helpful hints. I just started on anatomy free drawing this week. I can do body parts seperately and tons of anime which I will post later on today.

Please let me know.

This doodle is a random reference photo of a man with a volley ball. He wasn't standing straight at all. If you want I can post the original. Also, this is my work scanner not my household one.

Try working with a different face sketch, that would make alot of your faces seem blocky and pointy and curved and natural. A little more than just to lines for arms, I see little curve but not enough , and please show us reference it will help us help you.
Edit: Sorry the one your using will make your faces seem blocky and pointed.

Sorry if it is a bit weird, but I used paint, Try using that for finishing the picture or the next one, and use a skeleton to do teh body that will also help.

Study abit anatomy. I think u used 'how to draw manga' tutorials. If u want to draw non-anime skeches u must'nt read such tutorials.

throtailer - Thanks for looking! :) I actually want to draw anime character's, but my own not someone else's tech's so I figured I would study anatomy...it's really tough right now for me but I think in time I will get stronger in that area.

Practice Practice...lol

This is a study I found on the internet by Athey Nansel-Moravetz. I found it really helpful and I hope in time I will get better with my lines and details of the anatomy.

Sorry for the cruddy scan, I don't have mine hooked up at home so I'm using the offices and actually I'm sketching most of this at work anyways...lol.

Crits are welcome and any help ideas, links, etc...

Well, try using a skelton , and keep up the anatomy studies, the meanwhile, try using a skeleton , and basic shapes to learn the placement of the muscles.
