i like it

the face is very mysterious and cool

i think the tentecals could have some more detail around them (whether spots, or bubbles or both) just something to not make it look so plain in the back, because the face is realy good

by the way ... 1st post whats up
:)

I'm starting to paint it. Just putting my primary colours down. I'm new to painter and still learning... a lot. So any help or suggestions would be great.

well sketch, i am new even to the "idea" of painter.... so here is a question for you....

is that what most people nowadays use to color their sketches?

i have never even painted before .. (seriously anyway) but i guess i am a pretty decent artist... (my portfolio has gotten me a graphic designer position anyway)

and if it is what people are using more and more, how cool is it?

thanks

btw the painting is looking good, the "dark" background adds to the mystery of this "leviathon"

my suggestions are this: change the b-ground to a murky dark blue gray (not entirlry black)

give more feel for its motion.. ( maybe from a radial gradient or something in the back ground... i noticed in some spots little white clouds, and whether they were a mistake or not, they look cool... so i say add some more because it would add to its motion. Right now it looks suspended in space

the color choice on it is good though.... very pale and pastel, as to say it has never seen the true light of day
