Hello,
I'm sure you have all seen many many posts like this(I know I have!) but if you don't ask you wont get any where!

ok here goes...

Im not going to lie to you, I have been working on the development of an FPSMMO game for around 4 months (not long I know!) This is my first big project (and I mean big!)

briefly without giving too much away Ruthless Earth is a dark, brutal and harsh post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world. The game takes place on earth after a catastrophic event that threatens to irradicate the human race from existence.

I know im not giving you very much information on the game right now, its just that we have some very unique ideas for this RPG and well we dont want them falling into the wrong hands :P anyway the website may give you a little more info than what I have put on this post so goto www.burningmanstudios.com click on the Ruthless Earth banner and take a look at the site.

I currently have 18 people from around the globe working on the game, however I need Concept Artists, to design anything from clothing/people to vehicles and weapons.

All of the team are volunteering their services, mainly to get credit for working on it and to use as a stepping stone for better things. However contracts will need to be drawn up at some point, so if you join the team you may benefit in the future if the game takes off.

So if you would like to apply to join the Ruthless Earth development team, please send an email to steve@burningmanstudios.com with the word Application as the subject, as well as providing the following information in the message:-

1) Why you want to join the RE team
2) What you believe your level of experience to be
3) your age
4) your country of residence
5) what languages you know
6) your name and alias

You should then receive a reply usually within 72hrs

All skill levels are considered so don't be afraid to apply

I like your concept a lot, great project you have going right up my ally. You wouldn't so happen to need a writer would you, maybe a novel done to help promote Ruthless Earth?

Sorry it has taken me a while to reply...

We do need writers for quests, but the storyline has already been completed and we have a novel being written as we speak.

LOL, you already hired me as the lead writer Steve...different name...and yes, more quest writers and artist would be nice.

For anyone else, this is a great project with plenty of dedicated people working to make a truly original game. A good mix of pros and new talents. This game isn't just some hobby but a real honest to god company that is hitting the industry on all marks, books, game and film.

Sorry, just have to plug the project gents... ;)
