Occupational Profile: Concept Artist?

I'm interested if anyone has a good idea of what the job description and/or typical work activities, work conditions, entry requirements, training, career development and who are the typical employers.

I just want to broaden my knowledge and so if there are any concept artists here or anyone studying it at the moment, help and guidance would be GREATLY appreciated :)

....or just go to the jobs section of any game company that is hiring a concept artist and read the requirements. :nohope:
