Hey guys i'm new to this forum so just thought i'd begin by saying hi to everyone who's currently a member here...

Just thought i'd begin with an introduction by showcasing my first piece i have just completed only yesterday..I bought a Wacom Intuos 2 recently so it is my first attempt at drawing and painting with it. So this is what i've come up with...

I call it the Onyx Guyver...For those of you interested in Japanese anime, you'l know who this character is. LOL!

I basically started off with a simple drawing of Guyver, then took it directly into Photoshop and begun painting. I wanted to break from the norm and coloured in the character with my own style by introducing a different colour pallette. I think its turned out ok...Anyways guys let me know what you think of it..

Peace...Maverick

Sorry you can't upload images directly from your hard drive. You'll need to get some web space on a server to link and post images ;)

Unique, but somethings wrong there... add a background. Maybe that helps, also work with color adjustments,.. looks like a cartoon >.<.

Thanks for youre reply man, i appreciate youre advice....One thing though, i deliberately wanted to give it that anime cartoon look...Also, i didnt include a background because i felt that it would be too much for the eye, seeing as theres enough information as it is on the character, so i kept it basic...I'l be posting some more images soon...Thanks again for youre advice...
