Hello,

Here is the a new thread for posting your Final image!

Please post your Final Images in here, 800 or 1024 size is fine before 8th
Aug2007 10:30AM GMT.

Only entries posted before this date will be eligible for Voting.

Voting will then start immediately afterwards and will run until 15th Aug2007 10:30GMT

I will post to commence the Voting. Voting will be the same as last month with each voter putting forward their top 3 in order, 3pts for a 1st place, 2 pts for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. This means that will have to choose carefully! Feel free to give a reason for your choice as it will be good feedback for all of you!

1st - Chuck,mate. It is a funny charicature of the Aye Aye, and I really enjoy all the little details

2nd - raindropmemory. I really love the style of this piece, but the critters aren't as obviously Aye Ayes as Chuck,mate's work.

3rd - This one is tough to decide on, but I think I'll vote for Piru. It's an interesting scene, and the Aye Aye reminds me of the Thief from Thief and the Cobbler. You put a lot of work into it!

Hmmm, I've been scrolling for a while now and its pretty hard to choose-both top 3 and the order....Ok so I'll make up my mind.............

1: Raindrop memory....cool stlye and fun characters

2: 28th Wing...as ever, kick ass stlye-always dig your work dude

3: Cakeypigdog..dig the pastels...the eyes add a lot and again good characterisation

Pretty sweet round, I hope I have time to rock a croc:P

really, really tough decision this month... but, here's my vote:

1. daveneale - I love everything about this one; the colour scheme, the composition, the mark making - just love it all! beautiful.:)
2. cakeypigdog - great concept, great composition and a very painterly quality which is a really nice touch.
3. 28thwing - really like the lighting situation and the highlights, and the aye-aye itself has such character!

I’m counting the score now, firstly I have to say there are a lot of great entries this month!! Congratulations to all!

However, there is a tricky issue here. Manuhell's entry was posted a day after the posting final image deadline, which was 08Aug,07 and also his entry received some vote as well.

I and 2DArtist Magazine editor agree that we have to be fair to all those who did submit before the deadline so we can't include his image in the final vote.

So I'm asking our friends who has voted for Manuhell please re-voting again.

umm 5 days already, and I still haven't heard anything from MrozekArt yet.
However, I have been bugged by Zoopublishing's artists as they need to know the result to get the final images to add in September Issue which is supposed to be release soon.

So, due to this reason, I'm afraid I have to count MrozekArt's vote as it is and not included Manuhell score.

I will count the vote now, and will post the result in a minute!
