I am having trouble with the anatomy of the woman in the pose above, overall it seems to be going ok and the armour is coming along ok details wise but her right leg is giving me some trouble.
I know her toes are not right and should reflect the fact that they are load bearing but I am thinking that her leg should be at more of an angle away from her pelvis to balance her weight correctly........ anyone got an opinion that could help !?

Nice strong lines in this piece, I would recommend you angle the right leg outward and foreshorten it

Hello:)
The easiest way to correct this is to ask someone to stand in that pose and compare it to your drawing. You may even take a picture. Or take the pose yourself. Just use reference (try searching for "kneeling" in Google Images).
What comes to mind now is that the pose you drew is not really comfortable. Her legs are bent too much. Usually, when kneeling the toes are pointing backwards and the whole foot faces up. Either lower and turn her right foot or raise her body a bit (start bending her leg at the knee, not the hips). If you try to take the pose she's in now, you'll feel all of your body's weight go down on your toes. And it's not a nice feeling.
My advice is to raise the body. Right now she looks like she's preparing to sit on her foot. Best thing to do is just try the pose yourself.
Other than that, her... ahem... butt, should cover atleast a part of the calves. Now it looks like she's bent her leg so her right foot goes left of her body.
I hope this helps. Wht's important is that you've asked for critique:) That's the way to learn and make things better.
Good luck now! And have fun:)

good tips folks thank you, the pose itself is supposed to be in prayer or some such and i wanted to convey the I've just got here bit of the motion. I guess that isnt really on the cards now is it. I will angle the leg as you suggested Jed thanks and pay attention to the toes, but the Knights of old had hardened footwear and in some cases plated and I am not sure how much bend there would be.
More research required i think!! thanks again for the help
