July 30th, 2007, 11:51 PM
The aim is to produce 50 gestures by Sunday the 5th of August.
The gestures can be of anything, human, animal, weight lifting zombies....and can be in any media, digi or traditional is fine.
In addition to this, participants can choose to do an animal skeletal study of their choice. (Yes, a study of a critter skeleton.)
Come on soldiers! Flex those muscles!!
PS...critting each other is highly encouraged!! Let's help each other get better!

It's really open to interpretation. The purpose of the exercise is self improvement. So whatever you feel is necessary to improve really. :)
I'm not Welsh, but as you can see I like the stories. :D However it looks like you're the real thing? Or at least living there or close by!

It's an optional exercise.
Find an animal skeleton like a dog, cat or bird skeleton or even a dinosaur skeleton and draw it.
You can find pictures of skeletons online, or go to the museum, or if you are weird you may have skeletons in your basement in a small cardboard box...but don't worry, we won't judge you.

All done. Gestures from still life objects, photographs and posemaniacs. Skeleton study is a killer whale, from a photo; I omitted the carpals b/c they're so confusing in front of the ribs, and in the coming weeks I'll find a way to present them, so there's no confusion and nothing is left out. Critiques always welcome, and I'll see ya'll next week.
