I'm looking for artists, colorists, and inkers to work on a series that I have written with the hopes of producing a graphic novel. The series has about 5 different titles…Each title will go for about 7 to 10 issues…Each series in the “universe” is sort of its own genre…Horror, Crime, Drama, and Action.

We already have a lot of interest in the series from people who are interested in funding us to self-publish as well as the opportunity to talk to some publishers (the artist on the project is pretty deep in the design industry and has some great contacts).

We want to put out Issue Zeros (about 7 pages each) for all titles so we can have something to show investors/buyers to find the interest level. If it gets picked up, you get to be involved in a longer running project. If not (which I’m doubting), you get something cool for your portfolio.

Its essentially a different look at Armageddon (its not a “religious book” but it does examine some new theories on god, the devil, etc. Just don’t expect to see kids reading it in Sunday School).

Feel free to email me with any questions.

Hi Leon,
I saw your posting for a comic book artists, I've been looking for a writer to work with for some time now.

I would be more than happy to produce seven pages of art for one of your issue zero stories, even if you don't end up using it. My experience is limited and when I say limited I mean non exsistant! lol. But I'm confident I can come up with the goods.

I'd like to read more before fully commiting and I'd be very interested in reading the Horror & Crime stories you have in mind.

A bit about me: I'm 33 and a professional graphic designer and illustrator living in England. I've recently decided to change career and get back to my roots in illustration and its been a long standing ambition to produce a graphic novel. My aim is too build up a professional portfolio of comic/concept art. I consider myself to be professional and honest and if I take on a project I always see it through to the end.

I look forward to hearing from you
