Heres a character for a project im working on. Its adapted to live in the desert so it has the attributes of a camel. Humps, padded feet and long legs.

Bravo!

I like this a lot, but my only crit, is that the spear looks a bit short. Or, it could be that the spearhead is too big, for the staff portion of the spear

oh yeah...my crit would be the perspective...looks like the dude got only one leg.

id like to see his second leg ( or he only has one perhaps ) and in movement.

Very perceptive prince of space, I initially didn't design it as a spear, its more of a primitive weapon for gutting sandwhales.But I have a friend that im working on with this project and he designed a really cool tool to gut the whales. so ill probably substitute that at a later time.

SoftDrawer- he does have two legs, but my main pupose for this pose is just to flush out his design and silhouette. But fear not I will be doing more dynamic poses. Thanks for the crits guys.

great concept (I like how you and your friend have fleshed out other creatures in a broader concept of predator/prey, cool). For reference on arm anatomy for such a long bone structure, check out orangutans - they have incredible strength though their muscles don't look particularly Arnold'ed out, if you know what I mean. Has to do w/leverage or some such.

I really like the direction you have going. Will you be posting more stuff or are you working to publish this? I'll be looking forward to this, regardless! :)

I really like the silhouette, I can just picture staring off into the desert, heat waves rising, and seeing this lanky creature standing on the horizon. It adds to the character. Very nice!

PS. It would be cool to see one of your sandwhales.

Thanks for the comments, As far as the Sandwhale check out S13drifter. He posted his concept for the sandwhale a while ago.
