Damn thats cool. great work Marc.

I remember when you first posted work from your sketchbook , I really dig that. it looks like you are pretty free in your thoughts with that stuff.

good stuff man

i always enjoy seeing art taht is inspired by other cultures designs

and i really like the way you draw too


there is a little perspective prob with the room with the dragon head door

so these are the level of finish for color that is required?

Well, ty - to tell the truth this is actually more finished than I usually get time for.

We're really going all out on this game - normally you don't get the luxury of finishing every item - since 90% of the production drawing is only seen in house, and half of that is changed prior to completion.

But JRR Tolkien kind of ups the ante graphically speaking - lol

Admirable command of coloring/space and lineart/form. lots of effect without lots of noodling. Right to the point.

marc--well your designs are very strong, and im sure its no small task visualizing that universe. I really enjoy your work and would love to see more. your site doesnt have that much unfortunately--( i love the phone creature BTW)


--the sketchbooks are great too--looks like you had a productive visit to asia

but based on your drawings how much of your original DESIGNS end up in the game? (since you mentioned half of things changing)
