this picture is fantastic....i think that you could emphasize his emotion a bit more......its hard to tell if he's mad, happy or both.....just ideas.....great work

Right now hes got this happy look to him. If you want give him a angry look, try to arch his brow down like in the example below.

You need to learn how the head and neck connect.

the main show of expression in the human face are the eyes, so by changing the eyebrows and making them angry you would achieve the evil "spirit" of the character, the second most important aspect of emotion is the mouth so here you can play with it and give him that Psychotic look, , so to sum it up: i think angry eyes and happy smile would help you to achieve that psychotic look.........hope that helps....keep up the hard work man...this one is gonna look awesome when finished!!

Ok, I think I finally got the expression I wanted. I also toned down the Trapezius muscles so it doesnt look like his neck is missing! ... hope this looks better. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. Thanks for the great tips Bloodpool and BlackBeret. You guys rock! :P

Only thought I've got is the width of the neck and the lower par of the head.

Look in the mirror, the face is nearly square (or mine is anyways XD) and the neck is connected to the head at the ears, so it has too be wider.

I've scribbled some thoughts down so you can have a look at it.
The angle of the head expresses different things too, if you are thretening someone you tilt your head forwards, while tilting it backwards gives you a sort of "I'm bigger and better than you" feel to it.
Play with it.

Hey there, hope you wont mind if i express my thoughts on what could be improved. ^^
Ive allowed myself to oversketch on your pic, sorry for that, but i just thought it would be better then trying to explain.

1 scene : original
2 scene : I noticed that the head was not simetrical plus it was bend to left, so i just copied one half and pasted on other half (not to forget straighting it too).I also noticed that eyes were stangely shaped so i just opened them (you said you were going to psichic smile look)
3 scene : I had a thought, what if the head was bend intentionally, so basically i bent it.
4 scene : It also kinda looked like he was looking at something to the left so he is now.
5scene : my actuall sugestion on how you should draw him:eyes wide, pupils small,due to him smiling like mad he has wrinkles, yet they dont cover his eyes because he looks skinny so he has relatively less muscles to cover the eyes that much as you showed (well sorry if he has, but that doesnt seem so).Also the neck as eveyone stated was to thin, but due to his age id say you could draw it a litttttttle littttttle thiner (less muscles again).

Now i didnt know about that bent head thing (he might have some weighs attached to his hands that would get his whole body to the left or some nasty battle scar (he's a demon so he surely does such things :]) but the body didnt show that so didnt bent his head).
