This is great! I'm surprised you haven't gotten any responses yet. I hate that.
Some of the lighting on the dragon is off. His knee looks kind of weird too. You should work on the anatomy, the dragon doesn't have much form, he looks kind of blobby and clay like. And the rim of the bubble around the dragon isn't foreshortened properly. You did well with the effect of the hand up against the glass. And you got the idea of the piece across clearly.
This is really cool though. I love the idea. That eye, the look on the fish is hilarious. Love it.

Thanks for the reply Chromo! Lighting is something I've really been trying to work on, it isn't something I've had much experience in yet. Some of his blobby clayness is intentional - he's a big fatty - but I'm trying to avoid it in stuff I'm doing now - I've made a few similar to this and the lines sketches are all the same style so I better try out different techniques.
And you're right about the bubble it looks wrong to me now :) I think his back leg is too low too.
Thanks for the comment!

Nice! Guess your art is geared towards art for children by looking at your style... maybe a couple of bubble in the foreground would add more atmosphere... but over-all... cute!... keep it going...

Thanks HumbleMartyr, Yeah they are kinda geared for kidsy. Been looking at some of Mark Ryden's amazing work as well - I love how dark they are in comparision to their picturebook feel. He does amazing stuff - http://www.markryden.com
These are some of the other sketches I'd scanned to practise colouring - all a pretty similar, so I don't know if I will right now, want to keep trying newer things. I was trying to do different perspectives a little.
Excuse the aweful scan and compression quality, I had to scan at work and email to myself - the flat here is severly lacking on the tech front - that wacom and G4 Powerbook will arrive one of these days :D
