This could be really nice, but right now all I can look at are those big, ugly, evenly spaced craters.

This is a cool illustration for sure, but as Elwell said, those letters are spaced too evenly, and there are probably too many.
I think foreshortening of the craters on the moon aren't consistent.

I dont mind how the craters are painted, but their values need to be WAY lighter. they are causing way more attention that the boy.
realy cool image!

I agree with the above remarks on the craters, as it is now the whole thing looks more like one of those hot moons of Jupiter intead of our cool moon.
The letters are ok for me.
Another thing worth considering is how the character coincides with the moon. Personally, I'd prefer a partial overlap.

Yeah, I'm not sure if Chips Ahoy cookies are trademarked or not.
Neat character and concept, though.

Done! well, I'd experament with de-saturating or changing the hue of the moon. at the moment the pages and his arms realy blend in with the moon. If you changed the values of the pages and arms darker they would stand out, but it might start to look wierd. so maybe leave them that yellow color, but desaturate the moon or shift it to a blue-ish color? just a test.

i think dulling down the mmon was a good move but still i think having a dull moon just for the sake of it being duller than the boy is false economy..i think stronger, brighter colours on the boy and you could have the moon a less cloudy colour because on the last posted version of it it looks a bit like u just used a very soft edge brush and painted over it with white at a low-ish opacity :D hehe maybe not the case but any hu--hope you understood me :)
