If there is anyone out there who is a big fan of Yoji Shinkawa, could you direct me to a gallery of his work? I think his stuff rocks but I cant find anything really except Metal Gear stuff, and event that is few and far between.

there isn't that much of his work in the web, besides some metal gear galleries here and there and maybe a zoe gallery.
best advice would be buying his three books:
the art of metal gear solid (pretty badass book)
the art of metal gear solid 2 (pretty badass, too)
and there is one about his zone of the enders artwork.
i have never seen any free or personal artwork by mr shinkawa, though. nor in the web neither in boks. :(

my theory is he was a student/ apprentice of Yoshitaka Amano, hooked up with Konami, and has been a Konami artist and hasent ventured into self projects...yet.
eh? its just a theory

I live in utah, and either book is nowhere to be found,
Ill probably just have to order it strait from konami, but Im gonna try barnes and noble to see if they can order it. but I tried walden books and they couldent even order it. I also tried some comic shops but they were a no go as well.
DragonX, what is the price difference between the two books?

joshua, try finding a shop that specializes on importing books from japan.
they should not have any problems getting the book.
i tried several times to get import books from regular bookstores and it never worked conveniently.

I bought mine off of ebay. I used to live in Ogden. Its hard to find any of these books anywhere except maybe NYC and LA..
I got the MGS2 book for $20 from ebay.. the MGS1 book is usually over $50.. I cant find it anywhere for cheaper..
There are alot of good anime art books on ebay..

They are all for sell here, http://www.animebooks.com/ . That is where I got mine. Direct link: http://www.animebooks.com/metalgearsolid.html . You can probably find more of his books there, also.
