Hey, guys and gals.
We are in the process of development of a retro type sci-fi game; along the lines of Starflight series, Sentinel Worlds I, and Trade Wars BBS game style. We are interested in 2d/3d type artwork for the title screen on this TBA game.

the project would included:
title screen -> have a rought pencil sketch(tried to do straight lines.)
load splash (2) one space looking and the other planet like for landing.
Character profiles: The player will make a crew: "Party" that they will choose and design stats for when starting the game. The class types are: (M)ale and (F)emale : Navigation, Communication, Engineering, Medical -- We are interested at this point a male and female static profile, that could be used during the prototype. At a later point, the user will be able to choose different types of races that would offere different mods to thier stats.

We are willing to negogiate pricing, since we ourselfs on budget. The project would be broken up into title screen, load splashs, character profiles. A sign-copy of Confidentiality / Non-Disclosure Agreement, will need to be return to us. We plan to purchases the artwork, but we do belive that it is in our best interest to have work that is sign by Artist. A written clause, in Confidentiality / Non-Disclosure Agreement will also require that Artist name or alias to be display, in all media related avenues. Also, we will work Artists in additional clauses that would benefit us and the Artist.

Thanks,
Maatraka

i could prolly do some of the work on this, but i need more information.

1. retro sci-fi... does that mean like starwars return of the jedi style? or startrek?
2. whats the name of the game. its hard to do a splash screen without a name.

if you can provide more information that would be great.

you can email me at blankfield_andrew@roberts.edu
thanks

Hi, that looks pretty cool. "Sentinel Worlds I" isn't that 80's game? I did some research over the internet, what you have in mind. If you still looking for an artist, please contact me at gabrielshiguemoto@yahoo.com.br . So we can talk more privately. ; )

Sounds like a cool project... Check the links in my signature for my website and my sketchbook. I've just done some character portraits similar to what it sounds like you need.
