I have started this for a teeshirt illustration. I know it needs lots of details and adjustments and I need to make the comp. POP. Open to any input!

Thanks

That long thing black/Grey rope -sorry don't know a better word for it- is kind of hanging out there. It looks like its detached from something with the sharp line it ends in. For the rest of it the mood is set I think the squid might need some more detail brought out but I'm not sure about that. I like how you did the water but can you smooth some of it out?

Google a Picture of a Bridge. google a picture of a squidoctopus. Google a picture of a river or two, like the hudson. Look at some pictures of kids playing in water at how splashes look. San Francisco Bay. Golden Gate Bridge. Just, you know, look at some pictures.

Nice atmosphere, drawing, colors and perspective! I would suggest playing with different positions and sizes for the octopus to make the picture more dynamic. For example, you could make some of the tentacles squiggle out to the bottom part of the picture and lead you up to its head and body. Make him really scary!

Cool picture so far, how do you plan to adapt this to a shirt?
