I've been shoving these on the ever growing pile that has become the illustrious 'sijun speed painting thread'. Figured I'd post these here as they'd probably get kicked out of finished, but I still want to post them.

all of these were fairly big stretches for me. This summer I've been trying to push myself in as many directions as I can, changing subject matter and technique for almost every image.

This is very inspirational for I need to push myself as well. The horse and the portrait are my personal favs but all are very good. How long did it take you to do each one of these?

keep up the great work

these are nice, and have an immediacy which is pleasing to look at. Were they done in opencanvas? The second last one has a looser yet finished look to it. keep em up

Gosh Isric, you're booming artwise. By the way, there are a few broken links on your website.

kasai - thanks, it took me about 30 minutes for each (on average)

shyst - thanks to you too, I'm actually living in the stone age, using adobe 5

Rohan - immediacy is a good word, thank you. And as stated, I've been using adobe 5

egerie - thanks on both counts. I'm really glad you think there's been progress, that means a lot to me

metalwinds - thanks, i've been watching your stuff for the past year (still getting comfortable around here so I'll comment soon, I promise!), so your compliments mean quite a bit

jwo - that made my day mate. Thank you very much.

Jnorish - more thanks

PencilPunx - wow! thank you! I'll try not to disapoint

Rusty - it seems we've got mutual fires lit under eachother's asses then. can't wait for your next batch of stuff.

Android - sweet! thanks a lot.

apb - it's one of my favorites
