I have a few Painter 8 file i want to transfer to Photoshop CS2 but every one of them opens darker and more saturated and slightly not as sharp; if i Transfer from Photoshop to Imageready CS2 the colors are PERFECT; If i open in Photoshop Elements it opens perfect as well and it wasn't always like this with Photoshop CS2 it just suddenly started happening, i've reset to Default, i've tried adjusting the photoshop Color levels but it's not EXACTY the same i don't know what t do but i fighure for what i paid for this thing it has to open at least as accurately as Photoshop Elements. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here??

Check your color management settings in Painter and CS2. I think CS2 defaults to sRGB when in fact it should be set to Adobe RGB. regardless of what profile it is set to... to get consistent color from one program to the other the settings need to match up.

In photoshop, its edit>color settings.
