I am thinking of buying an A4 Trust tablet, are they reliable and worth the price (i found one at £60), Do you think that this is a good deal or should i stick with buying a Graphire4?

I don't like my Trust A4 tablet at all.
I recommend the intuos3 8x6 (A5).

Its alright for beginners and getting used to the whole digi painting thing, however I really dont like usign mine anymore. Its very hard to get a decent straight edge and there isnt much pressure sensitivity control. Ive been meaning to get Intuos 3 like Seer has sugested, I just havent had the money yet. From the sounds of it Intuos 3 is a worthy investment.

i also own a trust A4 tablet and can't recommend it to anyone.
I would rather look for a second hand Intuos1 och Intuos2 tablet on ebay.

my A4 trust served me very well for several years until it finally packed in (i had been using it almost every night since i got it). Got myself an A5 wacom intuous 2 and it was worth every single penny and i have never looked back. Unless you really enjoy drawing huge, you don't need an A4 one.

Weel im still loooking but the only other tablet i can find closest to the price im looking for is the Graphire4, do you think its a better idea to get a graphire then a trust one?

i don't know anything about the trust one tablets... but my first wacom was a graphire 4... for like $90... and it was beautiful... used it constantly... until i was able to get an intious3 8x6.
so without knowing anything about the trust one line... i would suggest a graphire4.

I second that!
Graphire 4 classic XL is just large enough for airbrushing, drawing and scetching, so unless you do layout design for a newspaper you don't really nees anything beyond A5
Those large tables are better for magazine works, since their active area doesn't got any better resolution than smaller tablets the linerat with large tablet tends to get shaky eventhough you wouldn't believe it without trying.
Having used tablets of all size (even A3) I can say that I still prefer A5 over them all. Even over tablet monitors, but that's just because I'm used on drawing board what comes to PC-CG painting.
So, trust wacom instead :D
