Hey guys.
I run a tiny web strategy game called Vox Imperium. You can take a look at it here.

I知 currently gearing myself up to start an advertising campaign to try to promote this a bit more. I currently have one banner ad I made myself:

but I think its pretty below average. Also, it shows the absolute maximum of my art skills: cutting and pasting things I already have. What I need is a 160x600 tower advertisement (non animated) that I can use to put on a few sites I have my eye on.
What I致e decided is that while I think the in-game graphics are passable, they are not exactly compelling for advertisement material. I壇 like to try some real art for this next ad. Here are a couple images that have the style and feel that I知 interested in:

Vox is an empire building game where players build cities, improve land, raise armies, crush their neighbors, etc etc. What I think I知 looking for is a dramatic scene, like how box art on old games would be really pretty, yet have no real relationship to the graphics in the game itself.
For specific subject matter, I知 pretty flexible. The game involves city-building, knights, pikemen, cannons, and pixel-on-pixel violence. Beyond that: I知 sure you guys understand this a lot better than I do so I won稚 try to dictate to you.
I知 unsure of what a job like this is worth, but I知 willing to spend a couple hundred dollars to get some really nice imagery to use in ads.
If you have any questions, send me a line at voximperium@gmail.com
Thanks,
- Bill
