These are a couple creatures I did for portfolio purposes. The first two are painter/photoshop illustrations and the third is done in zbrush. Any comments, critiques, or suggestions are welcome. Thanks

Yeah, When you put something done in painter next to some thing done in zbrush it does kinda crap out on the detail. Here are a couple more - not sure if I like the horns or not

I think you should push your conceptual thinking alot harder as well as design.

That blue nose creature is extremely off balance. It's leaning forward quite a bit and almost all of its mass is in its head and upper body. If that's really the way you want it to move it's definitely going to need a much larger tail and maybe some more substantial legs. I actually prefer the version without horns, it seems like the horns are blocking its vision. Designwise when you're looking at a creature from the front there shouldn't be anything blocking the eyes unless there's a good reason.
I love that Zbrush render and the one before it.
