Really Annoying Problem

I use Painter Classic, and since it came with the Tablet, it's both limited and lacking in docrumentation. My problem is that two of the five slots for brushes are stuck. They have a little green dot under them. It's really pissing me off because it's two tools I never use. Does anyone know how to unlock those tools?

Hi Shambacca,

Just keep your cursor pressed down on the brush category (drawer) icon which is locked until the green dot disappears. Do the same to lock the category again (green dot will re-appear).

The idea behind this feature is to allow you to keep (lock) frequently used brush categories always in the top row of five drawers in the brushes palette. You'll only be able to lock a maximum of four categories though, as the fifth is used to move other categories from the library in and out of.

Anyways, thanks a lot. My one beef with Painter is that clunky ass tool selection system.
