The Barbarian was a character I paint about 3 years ago, and it was something different from the rest of my work, it was just the desire to go further and see how far I could push my skills at that moment. I had that feeling through these years that I should do a new piece featuring this character and do something different from my usual pin up girls and this is the result. it took me 2 days to finish it as I went through a lot of sketches and changes. :d hope you like it! It's a very fresh painting style and very different from what you are normally doing ;) Awesome pic.

The only thing I can critique on is the composition right now, it's a bit to much empty canvas going on to the right and the eye tends to look over the action.. However the image reads very well..

The horse' stomping foot is getting as much attention as the barbarian. I think you need to tone down the contrast in this area.

Otherwise pretty sweet.

It's a really great render. Personally, I think the Horse should ba a little bit more off of the ground. I really love looking at your stuff. Keep it coming.
